Project 3

Module 3

This module focuses on creating a sense of identity through unconventional portraiture methods. Throughout this module I was able to explore using P5 code to create a representation of myself in various forms, as well as having the chance to focus on developing 3D models of physical objects in correlation to the code and facial tracking. Overall this project gave me the chance to explore creatively how I could represent myself, while also exploring new mediums to do so.

Project 3

Final Project 3 Design

For the final design I focused on creating a visual that represented me in a happy place mentally. I included elements similar to the TED Designs provided previously in Activity 1, as I explored how to use various visuals to represent data. There are 21 dots going around, representing my age, and there are 2 lines that represent my 2 years spent in the program. The colour is a light blue, representing one of my favourite colours, and matching with the plush animal. The plush animal is a silly, yet positive reference to how I tend to calm my anxiety with simple things that spark joy. The flowers and light lines add to an air of positivity and gentleness, complimenting the visual as a whole.

The final design for the project.
